Construction of the camping side located in Ślesin, overlooking the Ślesinskie Lake, included designing a contemporary and cosy recreational complex directly connected to the lake. The former centre consisted of mobile homes and a hardly functional boat hangar, placed in vicinity of floating piers.
The three-storey high building was designed with a particular regard to existing terrain, and its natural sloping. The building cuts into the escarpment, creating a representative terrace layout from the lake side and a two-storey entrance zone with a wide view of the lake. Two wings housing the suites are separated by an area with standard rooms, overhanging the common space. Thanks to the glazing of the recreation area combined with the possibility of fully opening the curtain wall, the building gains an ethereal quality, providing unforgettable viewing experience to the visitors. The recreation area leads directly to the spacious observation deck and from there, to the lake itself.
The beautiful views contributed to the design of the southern façade as practically completely glazed, allowing for indirect contact with nature. The main body of the building has been diversified with terraces accessible directly from private suites, shared recreation area and a swimming pool located on below-ground level.
The colours used are subdued, reflecting the surroundings, with timber and natural stone finishes.
